Processes that use xxx_logic may cause a new doc to be fetched via GS and the cache to be updated. Then we have synchronous hook-like code in od_user and od_space, which gets executed in the calling process, which may lead to infinite loops of hooks (fetching od_space causes dir stats to run, which want to fetch od_space...)
